About the Top 150 program

The Star Tribune’s Top Workplaces program recognizes the most progressive companies in Minnesota based on an employee-based survey that measures organizational health, engagement, and job satisfaction.

More than 2,100 companies were invited to participate, and more than 69,100 employees completed the survey. Rankings were calculated solely from employee responses and were administered by WorkplaceDynamics, an independent company specializing in employee engagement and retention.

Minnesota leads the pack

Not only is Atterro a great place to work, the state of Minnesota proves to be a leader as well. In a survey by WorkplaceDynamics, Minnesota ranked first among the 45 regions surveyed.

Many attribute this to our flourishing economy. With employees in high demand, businesses work hard to attract and retain top performers. “Minnesota Nice” may also be a factor: employers value family and care about their employees’ lives outside of work.
