Eugene A. Cutolo
President, Chief Executive Officer, Atterro, Inc.
Eugene A. Cutolo is President and Chief Executive Officer of Advantage Resourcing America, Inc. (ARA), Staffmark and Atterro Inc., which was acquired by ARA in May 2015. These companies represent some of the largest staffing companies in the United States. These companies are part of Recruit Holdings, one of the largest HR companies in the world.
A proven and widely-respected leader, Cutolo has more than 23 years of staffing industry experience. He joined Staffmark in 1998, serving as a driving force behind the growth and success of one of the company’s most profitable business lines. He was named CEO of Staffmark in 2015. In 2017, his scope was expanded to also provide leadership to the Advantage Resourcing America operations.
Cutolo is responsible for determining and formulating policies and overall direction of ARA in connection with business strategy, financial accounting, organizational structure, human resources, operations, and investments.
Cutolo has a Bachelor of Science degree from Rutgers University.
Board Director, Chief Operating Officer, Atterro, Inc.
Yuichiro Miura is Chief Operating Officer of Advantage Resourcing America, Atterro, Inc. and Staffmark. The three companies are part of Recruit Holdings, one of the largest HR companies in the world.
Most recently he was a Company Partner of Recruit Holdings Company Co., Ltd., where he was a member of the board of directors of three Recruit Group companies. Prior to that, he was Chief Operating Officer for Recruit Staffing Co., Ltd., the largest staffing firm in Japan.
Miura has more than 22 years of staffing experience with an emphasis on performance management and strategy development. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Hosei University in Tokyo, Japan.
Chief Financial Officer, Atterro, Inc.
Jennifer Prospero, CPA, is Chief Financial Officer of of Advantage Resourcing America, Atterro, Inc. and Staffmark. The three companies are part of Recruit Holdings, one of the largest HR companies in the world.
Prospero is responsible for all accounting, finance, treasury, tax, purchasing, facility, real estate, and payroll strategies and functions. She joined Staffmark in 2004 as Controller and was most recently the Company’s Senior Vice President and Treasurer. She has more than 23 years of experience in finance and accounting.
She has a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Miami University, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Chief Human Resources Officer
Suzanne Perry, PHR, joined Staffmark in March 2001 and is responsible for the company’s human resources, compensation, and benefits programs. She has worked in the human resource field since 1986 with an emphasis on employee relations, compensation, benefits, recruitment, selection, and legal compliance.
Prior to joining Staffmark, Perry held senior human resources positions, both domestic and abroad, at Fortune 500 companies. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and received her professional certification in 1994. Perry also received her Certified Staffing Professional accreditation from the American Staffing Association.
Perry received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from San Jose State University and her Master of Business Administration from Thomas More College.
Global Chief Information Officer
Michael L. Whitmer is Global Chief Information Officer of Staffmark. Whitmer is responsible for directing the planning and implementation of enterprise IT systems, Internet and mobile business platforms, and technology support services.
He has more than 25 years of information technology experience, and has a strong background integrating technology into business operations.
Prior to joining Staffmark, Whitmer was the Global Chief Information Officer for Hudson Global, Inc. Before joining Hudson, he was the Vice President of Information Services for Spherion, and has held roles with Witness Systems and Turner Broadcasting Systems.
Executive Vice President and General Counsel
Kathy Bernard, Executive Vice President and General Counsel, has been with Staffmark since 1996. During her tenure, Bernard helped design and develop the company’s self-insured and self-administered workers’ compensation program, and developed related protocols and policies for workers’ compensation, employment practices, loss control, safety, litigation, contracts, drug testing, and background checking.
Bernard is active in state and national legislative efforts that affect the staffing industry and has written numerous articles for specialty publications on workers’ compensation issues and employee leasing. Previously, she was the Regional Vice President of Workers’ Compensation, Unemployment and Employment practices for a national insurance brokerage.
Bernard received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Cincinnati and her J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law.
Executive Vice President of Field Operations
Stacey Lane, CSP, is Executive Vice President of Field Operations for Staffmark. She is responsible for exceeding company financial targets, ensuring operational and service excellence, enhancing employee attraction and engagement programs, and supporting our internal teams across all business units and specialty divisions.
Lane has been with Staffmark more than 17 years, most recently as Senior Vice President of the company’s West business unit and Drivers division, and has more than 26 years of staffing industry experience.
She is active in the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals, the Women in Leadership Council through the American Staffing Association, as well as volunteering at Second Harvest Food Bank and Coachella Valley Rescue Mission.
Senior Vice President, West
John Koberg, CSP, is the Senior Vice President for the West business unit of Advantage Resourcing and its affiliated sister companies Atterro and Staffmark. John’s area includes locations in Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Texas, Utah, and Washington. He joined the company in 2009 and has been in the staffing industry for over 26 years, holding a variety of roles from account manager, account executive, professional services recruiter, branch manager, and operations manager. Most recently, John served as the Regional Vice President for Staffmark’s Southwest Mountain Region. He has extensive experience in a wide variety of vertical markets within the staffing and specialty services arena, including professional/technical services and call centers.
John graduated from Arizona State University with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing.
Senior Vice President, Midwest
Greg Jensen is the Senior Vice President for the Midwest business unit for Advantage Resourcing and its affiliated sister companies Atterro and Staffmark. Greg’s area includes locations in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, Colorado, Alabama, New Jersey, California, Texas, and Wisconsin. Greg brings 24 years of industry experience in multiple specialties including IT, engineering, marketing, administrative, finance & accounting, light industrial, and Onsite Workforce Solutions. He has held various positions in recruiting, sales, and management.
Senior Vice President, Midsouth
Barbara Simmer is the Seniot vice President President for the Midsouth business unit for Advantage Resourcing and its affiliated sister companies Atterro and Staffmark. Barbara’s area includes locations in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Ohio, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Texas. Barbara joined the company three years ago and has more than 20 years of experience in staffing and recruiting. She has a strong background in both sales and operations, having served in roles from Branch Manager to General Manager.
Barbara holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with dual majors in Human Resources and Management from Ottawa University.
Senior Vice President, Specialty
Brent Rodgers is the Senior Vice President of Output Solutions for Advantage Resourcing and its affiliated sister companies Atterro and Staffmark. Brent joined our company in 2000 as Director of Strategic Sales in the Southeast region. He has held several key positions .including Regional Vice President for Georgia and South Carolina. In 2006, Rodgers turned his focus to drive the expansion and growth of the Output Solutions fixed cost per unit engineered labor division as Vice President of Sales. He has been instrumental in the development of key customer partnerships nationally by identifying supply chain management, operational cost improvement, and labor management strategies based on LEAN manufacturing principles.
Brent has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Shawnee State University.
Senior Vice President, Talent Engagement and Culture
Carla McKelvey, CSP, is the Senior Vice President for Talent Engagement and Culture for Advantage Resourcing and its affiliated sister companies Atterro and Staffmark. She has over 30 years of experience in the staffing industry, holding positions from Account Manager to Branch Manager to Area Manager to Senior Vice President.
Carla is very active with numerous community and charitable organizations. She is on the Board of Directors for the March of Dimes, Dayton Division and serves as chair for the Chef’s Auction Series. She also serves as a committee member for Secret Smiles. Carla is Chair of the Dayton Chamber of Commerce Breakfast Briefing Series and also serves on the Dayton Area Logistics Association committee.
Senior Vice President, Marketing
Michael Manser is Senior Vice President of Marketing for Advantage Resourcing America, one of the largest staffing companies in the United States. Advantage Resourcing is part of Recruit Holdings, one of the largest HR companies in the world.
Manser is responsible for overseeing internal and external communications, digital marketing strategies, social media and strategic sales support. He has an extensive background in the staffing industry, starting as a recruiter then promoted through the field organization to various global corporate operational roles.
He has a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration, industrial relations from Colorado State University.
